This award is presented annually to a person who has shown exceptional support and dedication to the quality and availability of French language programs in PEI schools.

Canadian Parents for French PEI considers the past recipients of this award to have added significantly to the well-being of the French second language education on Prince Edward Island. Some of the recent recipients are:

In addition to the honour of being named "CPF PEI Educator of the Year" the recipient receives a keepsake in the form of an engraved clock. The winner will also receive a personal gift and up to $400.00 to be used for classroom resources, activities or for the recipient’s continued education.

 

The winner is chosen by the Canadian Parents for French PEI Provincial Board of Directors. The award presentation is made publicly during French Celebration Week activities in March. A historical plaque is kept on display at the Department of Education, French Programs and Services.
