CPF French Summer Camps
Each year CPF offers summer camps in various areas across PEI. The Island day camps are for Grades 1 to 6. The L’Istorlet Centre Nautique camps in Îles-de-la-Madeleine are for ages 8 to 11, 12 to 14, and 15 to 17. The camps are for French Immersion and French language students.
All the camps offer students an opportunity further develop their French language skills over the summer while enjoying educational and entertaining activities in and out of doors. Although we try to accommodate all levels of French, the participants should have a basic understanding and ability to comprehend the elementary instructions.
French is spoken as much as possible. At some shared activities like swimming pool, the students will be mixed with others at the pool and therefore it will be more difficult to keep to the French only rule.
